About us
The Hanford Youth Soccer League is a volunteer, non-profit organization, 501(c)(3) whose aim is to promote and develop the sport of soccer for boys and girls in the towns of Kings County. Our philosophy is to provide an atmosphere of good sportsmanship within which the players and teams can learn, compete, and enjoy the game of soccer. However we cannot do this work alone. From individuals to corporations, foundations to grassroots organizations, Hanford Youth Soccer League seeks to foster lasting partnerships in our community. To do this we base our formula for success on training the total player. We promote good communication and a competitive spirit. We demand great grades academically, stellar sportsmanship, hard work, and determination. We emphasize the need for leadership and responsibility through personal credibility. We teach our players to solve problems both on and off the field. We encourage academics and we foster strength of character through teamwork and friendship.
Our Coaches
Our volunteer coaches play a crucial role in youth sports, not just in teaching skills but also in fostering a love for the game and creating a positive and supportive environment for the kids. Their dedication and willingness to give their time for the benefit of the community are truly commendable. It's through their efforts that many children get to experience the joy of playing soccer and develop valuable life skills along the way.
